Lost throw in and some backs defensive weekness cost the game to England
Congratulations to the English, even though they lost. We can clearly see they've improved since the last France vs England, were they were starting from nowhere. They're back in the trail now and they can feel more confident about their own team.
I don't support either team but love the sport and have to say that was some good rugby and good for the game globally. Well done to both teams

A good game but I reckon that if a teams reserve players are in the in goal area when their team scores a try , the try should be disallowed as they are interfering with play.

Great game, great tournament ! As a french I'm of course happy that "Les Bleus" finally got over this WC, but I'm also glad to see England find back their form and play and enjoyable rugby ! Congratulations to Italy for their best tournament ever, with a bit more luck they even would have finish 2nd. Scotland and Ireland played at their (high) standard. Only Wales is really struggling, but I would say this is mandatory when a golden generation come to an end…they will build back !
Just seen a video of the aussie refs penalty decision that won the game for France. 1. He totally ignored a very similar tackle moments before, Why? and 2. The English player could not have got any lower to make the tackle and if that is an offence that alters the result of a thrilling international then we should all play Rugby League! Pathetic!
